Crowboy, just a passing thought ...

What's your RAM configuration on your motherboard? 2 * 2 GB DDR?

The consistency of your bug screams hardware to me. Worst case - you need to replace a memory module.

I don't know, memory problems like that don't tend to be isolated to a single application, and they don't tend to cause consistent crashes. It usually more random. That said, I guess it never hurts to run Memtest86+ and see.

Mr_Russ:
2X2GB indeed.
Doubt it's hardware issue as hardware issues cause random problems.
This is too consistent and screams reproducible SW scenario.

My suggestion would be to do some form of diagnostics anyway. Then you can rule hardware in or out.

I have spare RAM modules. Already tried replacing them. Definitely not a hardware issue...

PC SPEC:

Intel Core 2 Duo E7300@3600 mhz

4 GB(2*2) ddr2 800MHZ

AMD Radeon 7750 1gb GDDR5 (Catalyst 14.9)

Windows 7 x64

Game  version 1.1.1 (Steam)

At any quality settings when the shadows is on (even view distance is 2 meters) performance drops from 40 - 60 to 14 fps - 20 fps. At low settings (shadows 6-9 meters), the game becomes unplayable (FPS sometimes drops to 20 frames). But when turning off shadows and ssao (awesome graphics settings) FPS becomes to 40 - 60. CPU load ~ 40- 80%. Screenshots under spoiler. With the shadows on, game slows down almost in all locations (Europolis, Dr. Zelenka office, prision, storytime(man in the dark location). After changing the settings, I restart the game. Fix this pls. And sorry for my bad English.
