I don't know why people have trouble with Pandemonium. I don't think everyone does.

I had a little lag in Pandemonium, but not like I did in...all of Europolis. ...Also had a moment where Mira kind of glitched out. Wish I'd gotten a screen shot. If it happens again, I'll be ready. But yeah, I don't think Pandemonium is as big of an issue as Europolis in terms of lag (for most people), as far as I know.

The laggiest part for me is always the Shuk (NOT SOUK!). As soon as I even turn my camera toward its general direction I see an instant drop in FPS.

Yeah, this is what we've been noticing too.

However, I can say that this has been addressed and fixed in the coming patch update. :)

Is the patch still on track for release sometime today?

Not today unfortunately.

It will be released as soon as we are satisfied with it (meaning no major issues and testing goes well), but as mentioned by Ragnar in this announcement post; definitely sometime this week. :)

Yeah, I saw the original anouncement post on Steam a couple of days ago. It did mention the patch may have been coming today, so that's why I asked. After my last post, I realized it was already early evening in your location, so I basically answered my own question.

Regardless, thanks for the update...on the update...Morten, looking forward to the patch :)

One could say that it's been "all Shuk up"

While developping a game, you do a lot of redundant stuff...

It's the same everytime I developp something, I so understand you, oh man!

Indeed :)

But why? Both spellings mean the same thing, right?

It's a pronunciation thing. The English text transliteration of the Arabic is "souk" but it's s as sh.

v-sync will be included in an upcoming patch, maybe next week.

VSync was not included in 1.1 or 1.1.1

You're right, it wasn't. It is apparently more complicated than just enabling Unity's v-sync.

The reason V-Sync is currently disabled is that we've had some animation- and other gameplay related issues in the past using the built-in V-Sync in Unity.

That said, we are working on testing the game with different settings and platforms to see what can be done with regards to V-Sync and other issues.

For now, we recommend using the program mentioned above (D3DOverrider) if you really want to force V-Sync.  :)

to be honest I think I got animation issues after the update due to having a runaway frame rate (like 150+ fps), I dont see it being made any worse just by having the option to switch v-sync on. Even if its off by default.

Actually it doesn't. There is a difference between Sh and just S, and also there's no 'o' sound in the word.

So Shuk is definitely the right way to go. (Pronounced like the word shook only less emphasis on the vowels.)

I didn't come here for any problems I have, I just stumbled upon this forum
but when I started to read, I remembered that when I first started to play this game and the Anti-aliasing was(n't) On/Off, my Graphic Card made a scary noise
I had set the settings was high as I could
