After Kickstarter update 115:

(..."If you pledged at the Journeyman Edition tier and confirmed your address earlier this year,
but your box hasn’t arrived, please get in touch"...)

I wrote a mail to backers@redthreadgames.com

Nothing happend.

A month passed by, so I wrote a second mail.

still nothing.

That was about 2 weeks ago.

Since I did not get an Error from a mailserver I assume the mails must have landed in your inbox.
I don´t have twitter or facebook accounts
and since I included a copy and paste of my address confirmation mail, (I never changed my address, the confirmation mail address was correct all the time)
contacting you per mail was the only option.

What happend? How could this go wrong?
Didn´t you get my mails?
Is there anybody @RTG even checking the backers inbox?

Since the update was via Kickstarter... thats where I would 'get in touch'. Did you try that ? would seem logical.

I thought it was common knowledge that they don't answer emails full stop.

I would also try addressing this issue through Twitter.

Idk...

I also see that they seem to have removed the forum link from their website, and in previous threads I read they said that Ragnar ignores anyone who asks about Dreamfall Chapters rewards on Twitter.  It does not inspire confidence, to say the least.

RTG wrote a Newsletter and told us to get in touch if we have a very specific problem
and included a link to contact options.
I expected them to monitor the incoming mail after such a Newsletter.
I expected a new thread in the support section on their forum to generate a mail to someone at RTG.
At least I expected them to monitor the support section once in a while.
And I expected some kind of reaction or answer.
Stupid me, I guess.

It is sad, but obviously RTG does not prioritize Customer/backer/forum communication.
I guess that´s just how things are now.

Yeah, it's very sad. I understand they're a small company with 12 employees, but reputation is important: they have upcoming games which people burned by this Kickstarted might not buy...

I got a response from RTG(!) :)

In a nutshell:
"Before I send you a new copy, please confirm and (if necessary) update your BackerKit information and shipping address: http://dreamfall.backerkit.com"

And now I have a suspicion what might have gone wrong.

Remember: I got a mail with my address long ago and a "no further action required"
Maybe that was incorrect.
Because when I visited backerkit now it might have triggerd something and changed my backerkit status.
I got a welcome message to verify I´m the proud (high number) backer of DFC.
and some status bar changed to "magic happens"...
sooo...It seems possible I never fully completed some necessary steps to confirm whatever I seemed to have confirmed now.

Idk... I can be wrong it might not change anything, but it seems plausible that it might:
so maybe try to check backerkit, If the last time you did was when you pledged and you´re waiting for some backer rewards that should have been shipped.

Happy 2019 everyone:)
