@ agirlnamedbob "it's a social experience." Yes. One which I should have the prerogative to partake of to the greatest or smallest extent I choose. I could make the same argument for total lack of anonymity online. "But it's a social experience! Knowing people's real life info and name is how you get to know people!" Not the same in magnitude of course, but the same in principle. It should be at the user's discretion in my opinion. Not everyone is a social butterfly. I don't do Facebook. I never did MySpace. I communicate here, occasionally, because I love these games with a passion and like discussing them with others. That doesn't mean I want to be best buddies with anyone here necessarily, though.
Fortunately, I've found the aforementioned anonymity feature by logging out, so it's not an issue anymore. Thank-you (and others) for the information.
