Dreamfall Chapters:crashes and goes blurry-dark screen

Dreamfall Chapters screen goes blurry-dark and when I click it, it says "Dreamfall Chapters not responding",etc..

 

ALSO: Dreamfall The Longest Journey will NOT play, when I click Play, it says "running" for about 5 seconds, then reverts to "Play" button...
 
Please advise..

Ordered an EVGA GeForce 1050 TI 4GB GPU, hoping this is my fix,..more when it arrives/installed...
