Got to the point where Zoe gave Sully the data theft info and then Nela BLEW UP, but..it won't load past that...:-(  please advise...

 

btw, this game constantly freezes/crashes and my PC is 6 core intel i7 CPU with 24 gb RAM and AMD Radeon HD 6700 GPU...

Are your drivers up to date? Are you using 64-bit version of Windows?

I look at that 7 year old gfx card and have to wonder if thats not the issue. DFC not really getting along well with newer AMD cards as it is.
Its under recommended specs, and short on ram. I think it is just over the minimum spec. At least its slightly better than an integrated intel 4000 listed on steam.

Which seems odd, since the rest of your spec is high.

All GPU drivers are up to date 4sure...using Windows 10 PRO 64bit...

 

At present, I'm considering buying an upgraded GPU, but nothing like a 1050,etc...something around $100-$200 or maybe just forget about using Steam games anymore and buy a PS4 or Xbox 1,etc...

Does DFC get along better with NVidia cards?  I'll use whatever works, as long as it works and it don't cost over $200, otherwise, it looks like PS4 or Xbox 1 or maybe I'll just play the games that work[so far], but  Dreamfall Chapters and Dreamfall Longest Journey "used" to work Ok..life goes on, thanks for the help...

I used to have a Radeon HD 6970. The game ran a bit slow at times but was overall completely playable (The first Dreamfall had no issues at all).

You could try doing a complete reinstall of Windows, especially if you had updated from Win7 or 8. Doing that around once or twice a year has fixed all kinds of problems for me in the past.

I've contacted Dell support, they said this GPU video card should be twice the power of  AMD Radeon HD6700:

 

AMD Radeon R7 450 Full Height 4GB (DP/DP/SL-DVI-I) for $129.99, it might be worth a try...

It always has as far as I remember. But since the same was ported to the new version of unity, I think that improved somewhat.

Ordered an  EVGA GeForce GTX 1050Ti, 4GB GPU, it should help, if it don't, hello Xbox/PS4...
