Will us backers still get early access or is the 21st October date for everyone ?
Over in the GOG thread, I think we were approaching an agreement that future episodes might still be released early for backers, but the risk of piracy is just too damn huge for Book 1.
So, yes, October 21st for everyone, yet early access still not entirely 'cancelled' yet.

That sounds extremely similar to the Poole pieces in Dreamfall. I'm convinced it's in game music.
Hey Ubisoft, you can keep your "seamless vast online GTA in space" to yourselves. Signed, one of the greatest Beyond Good & Evil fans alive.

It was meant to be a joke. Sorry if it came off as inappropriate.
Nah, don't worry 'bout it. Besides Christer, who modelled her, did say he'd put aside a good portion of the polygon budget for that specific purpose.

Well, we do see Zoë from the back a lot of the time, so she had to look interesting from behind. Christer modelled the face, but the new body/outfits (including the ass) were modelled by the very talented Hans Kristian Andersen.

I still think that is one of the most awesome names for someone working for a company that specialises in telling stories

Ah I'm sorry, seems my memory failed me. At least that explains why I couldn't find the quote in question last time I went looking.

Yeah the piracy issue makes that understandable and its not the worst date to release it in either, back to shadow of mordor for now

The concept of daylight savings time is stupid and should be abandoned! Add to that, confusing time zones.
DFC Facebook release information apparently states Tuesday October 21st, at 0900 PST (1800 CET)
PST and CET is kinda confusing when Norway at that time is in CEST (not CET), and PST time zone, e.g. California, is in PDT (not PST).
According to worldtimeserver.com:
When it is 18:00 on Tuesday October 21st, observing Central European Summer Time (CEST) in Norway,
it is 09:00 on Tuesday October 21st, observing Pacific Daylight Time (PDT) in California.
This is also 16:00 on Tuesday October 21st UTC. Which is a useful time zone on the Internet. It also has no stupid daylight savings time.
So ... it's out 0900 PST / 1800 CET / 1700 UTC or 0900 PDT / 1800 CEST / 1600 UTC? I would guess 0900 PDT / 1800 CEST / 1600 UTC is correct?

Moohouse, I don't think anyone in Europe is using UTC.
09:00 PDT / 17:00 BST / 18:00 CEST would be my best guess.
I believe Iceland is the only European country that uses UTC exclusively (I may be wrong, but I think the country does not observe Daylight Saving Time). Apart from Iceland, the UK, Ireland and Portugal use UTC except for the Daylight Saving Time period, in which they use UTC+1 (albeit they may call it different things, such as BST, which is basically UTC+1).

I think it was sexist, Even though it's a fictional person. I'm in general against the sexualisation of women in non-sexual situations. Would you say the same about duke nukem, or master chief? It was meant to be a joke. Sorry if it came off as inappropriate.
But by all means, i'm no saint, and it was not the end of the world. I just think it's a duty to speak out against sexism, genderism, homophobia and racism.
But i really dont think you meant it that way.

Yeah, I always thought it strange that countries and lands in the far north would want daylight saving time, but I live at 45 degrees north latitude and most people appreciate the "extra" light in the evening. So why not have it year round? They did it for one year here in the USA and most people didn't particularly like it during the winter season, dark too long in the morning.

I think Putin ended it in Russia a few years ago...Yeah, I always thought it strange that countries and lands in the far north would want daylight saving time, but I live at 45 degrees north latitude and most people appreciate the "extra" light in the evening. Here in Norway (59degrees north) i think the people with children apreciate that it's not to dark when the children walks to school.
Here in Oslo in december sunrise is at 10:20 and sunset is at 16:15.
