I made a Sporcle quiz!

 

Feedback is very welcome, but hopefully the below answers some more common questions:

To address some questions that came up on the Facebook group, most characters require first and last names, where they were consistently used throughout all three games. For example, April is consistently referred to as April Ryan throughout all three games, whereas Emma is only referred to as Emma de Vrijer during DFC and Reza is only very rarely referred to as Reza Temiz by a couple of officials. In most cases, I also went with what the community has consistently referred to characters as since I first got involved in TLJ fan-forums, hence "Sam Gilmore" is an accepted answer, even though I don't think she's ever been referred to as that in-game. Where characters only acquired a name later on (e.g. "The Captain"), either name is accepted and surnames only are also accepted where characters were referred to in that way. Originally, I only put the three-headed lady as her full name or the shortened version used in-game (Yaga), but since a few people had issues, I added her real-life counterpart's name (with two spellings) as alternates. So if there is something enough people have issues with, I'll happily add in alternate answers, but if it's just one or two people then it's more in the spirit of the quiz to leave it alone, since some of the characters were intentionally obscure.

 

I opted not to include characters whose names weren't obvious, such as the Alatien Teller and the Maerum Queen, because although those are their names in English, I'm not really sure how they were referred to in other languages and that could cause confusion. The only exceptions are the four Draic Kin, because I'm pretty sure "Draic Kin" is the same in every language (and I provided plenty of alternate answers for all four, so there shouldn't be any difficulty).

 

If anyone thinks any characters deserve to be on there who aren't (please read the spoiler section before suggesting anyone, since there is a caveat in there) or have any other issues with the game, let me know. I'm keeping an eye on the stats and so far, there are only 8 characters significantly below 50%, and they are the characters I expect to be less well-known (with my absolutely intended Alatien wild card at the bottom). And if anyone has any requests for any other kinds of quizzes (TLJ-related or otherwise), do let me know, I very much enjoy making them.

I missed 4. I couldn't remember the names of the third stickman, the alatien guard and the pizza-eating guy in the Victory Hotel at all, and also I was drawing a blank for the psychotherapist's surname.

Fun fact about the pizza-eating guy in the Victory Hotel: In TLJ, but not Dreamfall, Marcus Crozier was voiced by none other than Ragnar. True story.

I've recently discovered this quiz (and posted it into a different topic because I didn't know it was listed here), it's really well done, so thanks for making it! Some of the descriptions are really funny, and my favorite thing is that it accepts

Some observations, not to be nitpicky, just to contribute and because I like to discuss character appearances for some reason :

- Cortez is listed as appearing in TLJ only, but he also has a brief but significant appearance at the very end of DF.

- Ben-Bandu is listed as appearing in DF, but as far as I know, he doesn't. (Or is the Banda rooming around in Marcuria meant to be him?)

- (Brynn and Chawan technically appear in DFC at April's funeral, not just in DF, but I guess I wouldn't list them either for that.)

- The second White Dragon, technically, also appears in TLJ during her birth, and although she doesn't talk of course, it's certainly an important moment, so personally I would include that

- Falk Friedman is described as an employee of WATIcorp, but is he? I know that he was described that way in pre-game material, but he was definitely reporting to Helena Chang, who as it turned out, was against WATI after all. She was pretending to be working for them, sure, but somehow I don't believe that Falk Friedman's information made it to WATI.
