[Linux/Mac] Random colored and white dots pop up everywhere

Zoë has all sorts of colored dots around her. Also, white dots show here and there as you rotate the camera or move. At least white polys are gone, thanks for that, but the dots issue is more than half year old. I could live with that but now these green, red, yellow, blue dots are polluting the view and ruining the immersion. Tried to turn every visual setting to low/off and to maximum, no change (except for FPS).
My config: Intel Core i7-2600, 32Gb RAM, NVIDIA GeForce 770 GTX driver v367.27, Debian Stretch GNU/Linux amd64, Awesome WM 3.5.9, kernel v4.5
Also confirmed on Mac with AMD Radeon R9 M295X.

I encountered a similar problem while playing. It was the most pronounced in the Storytime, but did appear on a lesser scale (the way max_pierce's pictures showcase) during other parts of the game - mostly on character's bodies but also:

Also encountered an interesting bug where Propast's citizens would just walk off the ledge behind Nela Bites and congregate together under some neon signs in mid-air. Crappy pic of that:

Didn't really bother me but I thought I'd post anyway since other players were experiencing as well.

Thanks for the confirmation! Your screens look more terrible than mine, instead of dots you have quite large squares. It all started since migrating to Unity 5 and it should get more attention. Now at least it's confirmed on Mac and Linux, on NVIDIA and Radeon. I hope developers fix this mess before porting to PS4/XBox whatever they plan to port to.

This seems to be either a shader or post-processing issue occurring for some Mac/Linux users.

We've had some instances of things that look like this when testing on our machines using Mac/Linux, but fixed all of those we could find. It may as well be related to different hardware and/or drivers. 


Thanks for posting the reports. We'll look into it and see if we can reproduce these cases. :)

Thanks, Morten, it seems that with today's update that particular issue is fixed (on Linux, at least). However, there are still some distracting white dots: http://imgur.com/a/klxzo


They appear and disappear as I rotate the camera, they're not only on Zoë herself. Please, take a look at this issue as well. It's pretty annoying to see them around.

So what's the fix progress? I want to play the game but these dots are so ugly, they ruin the immersion! What have you done to fix the issue?
