Which reminds me, Ragnar did you guys remember to email the Paypal backers with this update? They might appreciate that.

Well, the last kickstarter update I received was update #84 (book 3 release), so I just gave up hope on receiving any more updates and simply check the forum every now and then. I don't mind doing it, but it would be nice to be notified about more important issues.

(somehow missed your post, khh!)

But yes: party! Free booze! Finger food! Probably not much dancing!

With Martin there one can never be too sure. He even got me dancing once.

Yeah, I've also been tricked by Martin. Several times. He's dangerous like that.

The free booze comment is a bit scary. My track record is.. embarrassing.

There's nothing stopping us UK fans having our own release party.  It would lack the RTG staff, free drinks, finger food and the not dancing, but it would also not have to involve dinghies or oars.

I would totally be there... But I don't really have a spare two grand lying around, and I've already done my twenty hours on a plane for the year...

I shall have my own Australian party. There shall be celebratory cheese soup and (not so dirty) dancing. :D

You should really try the pork sausage.

See, I have heard they are excellent, but I don't think I want to upset the 15 years of being a vego... I guess I need to be more adventurous with my food choices.

(twitter link)

I haven't yet decided what to wear, but I know it'll be something comfortable. And probably not the most shabby stuff I own :P If the Kickstarter release party is anything to go by, most people wore "nice casual", IIRC. And it gets hot and crowded, so have that in mind.

I would take that as a challenge to wear a ballgown with a hoodie over it.

Sadly I don't own a ballgown.
