To be honest, though, if they kept the old resolution and just updated the 3D stuff (models, textures, perhaps some animations too) I'd still get it.Ragnar said that the original drawings of TLJ were lost, and there's no intention of redrawing everything from scratch.

I guess I'm the only one that would play a prequel with Brian Westhouse and Cortez 
I'm replaying the game right now. I think it looks pretty good for it's age, anyways. Some of the animations.... most the animations are what would need touched up.The game looks great, some of the animations are a little dated...
Like when people sign deliveries... they aren't even holding a piece of paper... the animations could used updated. But, over all the game is a masterpiece and I think it's fine the way it is.
You play a game like this mostly for it's story, and although the visuals are dated, they don't take you out of the game, story. It still feels like a real experience. I'm loving my replay through.

I know that TLJ was released for IOS last year; is that what Funcom did for that?

No, as far as I know, they just fixed the anti-aliasing issue to smooth out the rough edges. It's glitchy, but I've done that on my version and it looks amazing. It would be nice if we could get an update to enable it properly.

Are you sure about that? There is a Youtube video of the beginning of the IOS version of TLJ, and April's model looks vastly better than I have seen before.
