It's April. She wore those clothes in Chapters 6 - 11 in TLJ.

Yes I think so but  she seems.... strange, surely is for my shitty eyes :D

She looks like April in The Longest Journey to me.

It took me a while to see her too, I think in part to the old graphics in TLJ. Definitely recognize the clothes though.

I don't remember from when I looked at the picture on my laptop, does she have freckles? April had freckles didn't she? I can't really see from my phone.

::Cortez:: Vamos. Enter the light.

::April:: Don't say that. It sounds too ominous. Just... tell me what's gonna happen.

::Cortez:: You're about to take the first step on the longest journey of your life.

::Zoë:: It was nice chatting with you, Crow. It's been very informative.

::Crow:: Glad to help, doll.

::Zoë:: 'Doll'?

::Crow:: Um, I mean 'independent and self-reliant female person who's not an object to be ogled or used solely for my own personal amusement and pleasure'.

::Shitbot:: Affirmative. I will stop doing this thing that I love and that makes me feel happy and fulfilled to follow you to the next stop on our pointless, depressing journey.

She had that one freckle that magically switched to the other side of her face in Dreamfall, yes.

"But even if we don't reach that lofty goal this time around, we hope to some day still be able to tell this story. April's story, all of it. All that remains of it. Because it needs to be told. And you all deserve to hear it. And we would love to share it with you." - RTG, March 1, 2013

April visited HoAW and Lady Alvane in Chapter Nine in TLJ. It can be revisited in Book Five as conclusion of TLJ saga (for now).

I was hoping they would animate April with an actual proper inventory bag since she had to lug many things around in the game (especially the pieces of the stone disc) and she literally went to the fucking bottom of the ocean and somehow her diary survived lol. Even Saga has a bag!

Uh, I think we're talking about the woman next to Saga, not Saga herself: the woman to Saga's right (our left). For sure Saga doesn't look like April, not in any way to me.

Man, that jagged, pixelly old April model...I'm super-happy to have it updated, but I'm a little sad the pretty new Unity model is saddled with those ugly black shoes from TLJ.

Things Book Five still needs to answer:

  • What happens with Roman depending on how much information you gave him or if you flirted with him
  • What happened to Falk (they seemed pretty promising about this)
  • What's going on with Reza (again I'm almost 100% sure this will be resolved but just listing it anyway)
  • What is the consequence of picking the traitor in Book Two versus the wrong person? This has not been mentioned at all in Books Three or Four
  • The resolution to what Zoe told Queenie she wanted - Meaning, Reconciling, Belonging, Remembering or Forgetting
  • What intervening with Mr. London (or not doing so) does in Book One
  • Basically the entire plot of Dreamfall that was swept aside in this game (the Wati conspiracy, truth about Peats, Chang and Zoe's and Faith's births, etc.)

I forgot two more things we need answers to:

  • What was the point of Kian's monologue about his mother in Book One? (I have a feeling this will tie into why Saga is called Lady Alvane)
  • What was Crow doing with Mother Utana and what happened to him in Sadir?

Add to that:

  • Bryan Westhouse, 'nuff said
  • Cortez, what happened with Bryan in Tibet
  • Who is the Prophet and why does he do the things he does. Mind you personally I think it is Bryan which leads back to my first point.
  • The undreaming, what happened, how was it stopped, why did Bryan unchain it
  • What happened to the White Dragon in the Dark People's Library
  • What happened to Crow after the Dark People's Library
  • What is Gabriel's involvement (Zoe's dad)
  • The twins. Why had Peats lost control over them
  • Anna, what's the deal with her? There was almost no plot around her yet she was "shoved in our faces" in books 2 and 3
  • Where's Etta
  • What happened to Bip
  • Roper Klacks, 'nuff said
  • How's the whole Waticorp story going to play out
  • How has April been saved*
  • Why was April no longer a wave*

*I think to be fair those are all items related to the dreamer cycle although I am happy to be convinced that the April story has to wait for another day (read TLJH). However if TLJH isn't going to happen which by reading between the lines of previous announcements is becoming somewhat apparent then it'd be nice to have at least some resolution there.

Call me a pessimist but looking back it feels a little like the story line in DFC went way too "off topic" and detached from Dreamfall TLJ. Heaps of new story lines opened up, not followed through on and the storyline from Dreamfall was parked for 4/5 episodes to potentially just gloss over them. Maybe players aren't supposed to remember all these issues from over 8 years ago.

Having said that, please, please, please RTG prove me wrong and make chapter five one long wrap up of all open issues and when we all are sitting there, happy that everything is resolved then throw in a cut scene at the end opening a new story line for TLJH (a la Heroes Reborn).

I agree, unfortunately. I did say this once before, but up to this point it seems that DFC just threw the original Dreamfall plot out with the bath water, keeping only some threads. Out of every point listed I think only who the Prophet/hooded figure is will be answered.

I am still reserving final thoughts until after book 5, so I haven't really said much on the topic. But I think your list is was way too much stuff to be covered in one final book. Which does not bode well.
Just like you, I would love to be proven totally wrong.

Don't worry guys. In the end everthing will be explained because...the prophet did everything!

Q: What happens with Roman (...)?

A: The Prophet romances him!

Q: What's going on with Reza

A: Reza IS the Prophet!

Q: What is the consequence of picking the traitor in Book Two versus the wrong person?

A: the traitor WAS the prophet! (possessed by the undreaming)

Q: The resolution to what Zoe told Queenie she wanted

A: It was all in the prophet's mind (he dreamt it true :P)

Q: What intervening with Mr. London (or not doing so) does in Book One

A: It unleashed...the prophet!

Q: What was the point of Kian's monologue about his mother in Book One?

A: His mothe was....impregnated by the prophet!!!!

Q: What was Crow doing with Mother Utana and what happened to him in Sadir?

A: They were preparing coffee for the prophet! (sleeper agents! no wait that's Battlestar Galactica)

Q: Bryan Westhouse, 'nuff said

A: He is the...no wait: I have to invent something else....He's possessed by the...no......He possessed the prophet!

Q: Cortez, what happened with Bryan in Tibet

A: Oh he just wanted Brian to go to the monks and do a ritual to unleash the Undreaming is all :P

Q: Who is the Prophet and why does he do the things he does.

A: You know how prophets are...the do weird things...there was this one about 2000 years ago...

Q: The undreaming, what happened, how was it stopped, why did Bryan unchain it

A: It was so the prophet could die and be reborn in the house of all prophets

Q: What happened to the White Dragon in the Dark People's Library

A: The prophet offered het tea because it was about 5 PM

Q: What happened to Crow after the Dark People's Library

A: why he was killed...by the prophet (whouldn't shut up! ....silly biiird)

Q: What is Gabriel's involvement (Zoe's dad)

A: he most definitely IS the prophet (just look at his bathrobe in Zoe's house and how laid back he is! HE's up to something besides coffee!)

Q: The twins. Why had Peats lost control over them

A: The prophet, maaan! He was puppetteering Peats!

Q: Anna, what's the deal with her? There was almost no plot around her yet she was "shoved in our faces" in books 2 and 3

A: she most definitely IS....THE PROPHET'S DAUGHTER! Reincarnated....from House of All Worlds with love

Q: Where's Etta

A: She went grocery shopping....FOR THE PROPHET!

Q: What happened to Bip

A: he became the mascotte for "The Propher's Enterprises"

Q: Roper Klacks, 'nuff said

A: what about him? :PPPP

Q: How's the whole Waticorp story going to play out

A: Wati's heads of staff will be all arrested one night when they all decided to hang out at the Fringe. Charle and Emma, together with SagApril will be there and get them all....Untill the PROPHET shows up! Then they're all going to dance together with a huge watilla (one of those in display the the wati museum)

Q: How has April been saved

A: The prophet was the one who killed her (possessed the soldier!), saving her from the misery of her own self (she'd become bitchy and whiny, no :D)

Q: Why was April no longer a wave

A: 'cause th Prophet's now the surfer!

...ok if I'm writing this now, and it's 8 am and I have a day of work ahead of me...immagine how it will be tonight :PPPP
