Just tried that myself, to see if I'm affected (I never run shadows at that distance). I did not experiece any flickering, so it appears it's not systemic. My system:

Intel i7-2600K @ 3.4GHZ

nVidia GTX 750 Ti SC

16GB system RAM

If at first you don't succeed, do it like your mother told you.

it appears the issue can be forced to appear for me by alt-tabbing out from the application and then going back in. otherwise it happens after playing for a while.

Thanks for reporting that.

Does pausing/unpausing the game (Escape to go to menu) help at all with the flickering?

not when the flickering has started. when i restart the game it disappears.

also: today i have received the 3.2.2 RC. so i will play around with that later tonight and see what i find. also, i have updated to the lates nvidia driver since it apparently did not update automatically since september...

Okay, good to know.

Keep in mind we're going to submit a new version today as there were some issues with reporting bugs in-game not working. :)
