How do I disable controller support?

I do not have a 360 controller or the adapter. I had 2 and thy both broke.

I would like to use another controller and Xpadder. But it seems to default to the 360 with wrong controls.

You can't explicitly disable controller support. The problem I guess is that the game only officially supports 360 and PS4 controllers. Many people have been able to get other controllers working by mapping the input to a 360 controller, with tools such as motionjoy for the PS3 controller.

There may be a work around, though. The game automatically checks for controllers during start up, so if you don't connect your controller to the computer until after you've started the game, it probably won't react to the controller input - enabling you to use Xpadder.

April Ryan is my friend,
Every sorrow she can mend.
When I visit her dark realm,
Does it simply overwhelm.

It works the way you said, mostly. It seems it reverts back after every load to the next chapter. So, I have to keep my mouse and keyboard beside me whenever that happens. (Good thing they are wireless because I like to play on my projector) When I or it saves I have to exit and unplug then plug after it starts again.
But thank you. Also, sorry for the late reply
