April Ryan is my friend,
Every sorrow she can mend.
When I visit her dark realm,
Does it simply overwhelm.

Lenovo ideapad y510. But it comes with different configurations and I'm not sure exactly what hardware I've got on mine (since I'm at work now). And I'm also clueless about technical stuff :P

But I did buy it according to the "recommended" specs for Chapters (needed a new one anyway), with a bit of help from the more technically advanced boyfriend :)

Your laptop is definitely more high end than mine! I can't play DFC with high settings smoothly, only medium settings, but that's ok with me... So silly for a new driver to cause problems, I thought these updates were made to improve game performance...?

I'm thankful I figured out the problem so that I could fix it... I hope this helps other people who are having similar problems, and maybe RTG can look into any incompability issues with new drivers being released.

I'm very glad you got it working :)

Thanks! Me too. :)
