Is there any sort of timeline with the release of Dreamfall Chapters to the PS4? Or a timeline to announce a timeline for the release to the PS4?

It was announced back in August that it was gonna happen "soon" and basically every article I can find about it is from the same general time period and merely states the ambiguous "soon" as far as when.

This thread from ~fall 2014 mentions a possible 2015 time period...but?

Look for posts from Ragnar on the forum. He's talked about it a couple times in the last few weeks.  Basically, getting DFC onto PS4 is dependent on upgrading the engine to Unity 5 -- and Unity 5 isn't out yet.  They're still hoping for midyear, but it's a little outside their control right now.

ah, alright. I thought I did a pretty thorough search of the forums, but I can't do a broad search for "ps4" via since it's <4 characters. I'll look around for his post about it. Thanks for the summary!

It'll list all Ragnar's posts on this forum in reverse chronological order. (You can do this anyway and for any user via a few clicks but I find it easier with a bookmark ;) )

This means that I have to buy this game a second time for PS4 :)

At last we can play the game with the type of controler it was designed for.

Please don't tell me the IOS port will work on old IPADs. I am on a budget!

Unfortunately that's the story of revenge. It's messy. Never really works out the way you want it to.

The DS4 works perfectly on pc (at least on steam, I know some don't do steam...). Plug and play :)

^ What he said.

I think RTG would argue with you as to whether or not the game was "designed" for that type of controller (EDIT: more so than mouse and keyboard, I mean), but I've been playing it on my PC with a PS4 controller and it's been great.

Though I'll still be buying it again on the PS4.

Thought you tagged him with a GPS tracker? :P

Shhhh... if they know they'll find it.

What is this PS you're talking about?

I too will probably buy it on PS4, even thought I allready: 1: have it on PC. 2: will get physical copy. And 3: has bought another copy to give away amongst friends.

Hey... I help inflate sales :P

I know it was a joke but please; let's keep everything that smell of fanboy-ism out of this forum. There are sharks all around us, stupid sharks but they smell the tinyest drop of blood and we don't want them in here ;)

Edit: Sorry for double post..

I think I am blessed that I have (honestly) no idea what you are talking about :)

You don't... Think people who only have pc, xbox, Playstation or Nintendo and they basicly go to war on each other, defending "their" system and talk the others down. A lot of them are 12y, but all of them are 12y in their head...

Ah that story! Well... I know similar things from times with Atari and Amiga in the 80ies. This "fanboy-ism" as you call it is a disease that is cured from age I guess ;)

(But who knows what an "Atari" or an "Amiga" is in our days!)

Consider yourself lucky and don't Google it. ;)

You can bet on that... ;)
