Pardon the expression, but you're speaking out of your arse.

I hope you enter the second release date guessing pool. ;) December for Book 3 seems like a long shot, so you'd be in the minority. Not that we're playing for money, but the bragging rights would be pretty enormous.

Sorry, I really can't help myself...

Serious answer:

I'm not going to make any arguments for how soon "Soon" will end up being, because whenever I do I'm wrong. However, most of your assumptions seem inaccurate based on the information Red Thread has given us. They've got money coming in from game sales. They've been pretty open and honest about the hiccups they've run into. They did just hire a new person, but there haven't been any major team switch ups. They've spoken pretty extensively about the software end of things.

Soo...I'm sorry, but no. I mean, I understand your concern, but based on the very nebulous statements we got back before Book 1 even released, it sounded like it would probably be 3.5 months between Books (give or take). We haven't even hit the 3 month mark and the holidays were thrown in there.

If the game was really coming soon, there would have been a rough estimation when that is going to be.

Oh, actually, we had exactly that.

Dear swamplady, welcome to the exciting world of episodic games. :)

The soons and very soons from RTG are always to be taken with a grain of salt though, we know this by now. But I'm still hoping for a bit more info maybe on Friday (that's a week after the above posts, and I like Fridays). For the release date annoucement, I'm still thinking it's a bit farther away.

YAY I WAS RIGHT!

:D

New update here.

I think the crow gifter is a reference to the white of the kin

Uh huh. And what is the significance of Crow's beak being tied shut?

Just humor I would say.

Same with the sly look on his face.
