This topic describes some of the guidelines we want players of the beta versions to use while reporting bugs and other feedback.
This topic is due to be updated in the future.
Feedback or bug reports can be posted as new topics in this forum. If the issue has already been reported (already a topic describing the issue), please feel free to add any extra information in a reply to that topic.
When reporting an issue or bug occurrence in the beta version, please try to report bugs or issues that are specific to the beta version.
If the issue can also be found in the officially released version of the game, please report the issue in this forum.
As of beta v3.2.0, we've added an in-game bug reporting tool. You are able to add an issue description before submitting.
The tool will automatically send us information of your current game session, such as: A screenshot of the game's current view, the output log, your current Story Flags, currently loaded save game (if any), system information, etc.
This tool can be opened in-game by pressing CTRL+B or going into the pause menu and pressing the "Report Bug"-button.
However, sometimes this depends on the situation, so for most times, go with your gut feeling and post where it seems most feasible.
If the issue or bug is related to performance or graphics within the game, please include any relevant system specifications for your computer as this will help us debug the issue.
This is of course not needed if your feedback is only referring to gameplay- or design decisions.
If you are unsure if the game has been updated to the correct/latest beta version on your system, you can check the version number of the game in the Title-screen's "Settings" menu (bottom-right corner).
You can see the number of the currently available beta version in this topic.
